    bleah

I'm lagging behind my schedule(as usual), and my dad is starting to piss me off again.

I figured out one thing about successful parents, mainly my dad(besides the fact that he is always drunk), is that they will get jealous when they see people, even their children, do better than them.

Why I say this? Just the other day, my dad tried to show off his whatever knowledge. Everyone knows that you are nothing now even with your oh so wonderful grades. I think my aunt has the same illness. Something which I call "HASBEENenzia". It's were people who did well in school, did well at the start of they career and lead a pretty good life. BACK THEN. Now they are like any average person in Singapore. They are Has Beens and I think my dad is one. Yes I'm not doing brilliant now but I know I'll do far better than him when I work. I ain't sitting back.

Oh I realised I strayed off point. Ok back to the point why I said successful(or at least at a point in their lives) parents would get jealous of their children. I wanna start a cafe, then a restruant. He was quick(together with my aunt) to say I will fail. WHY? They are afraid that I will succeed. People who make it big are always competitive in nature and don't you think parents will be too against their children? And what about when I got Citibank for my intership? Haha he was quick to say, they will give him some marketing job. Haha stop this jealousy just cause you never worked for a bank when you were 19.

Yes dad you did well in the past. Let it go. You aren't that brilliant now. It's due to your nature why you are like that. You talk but you dont carry out. You show off but really you have nothing to brag about. You see. I will succeed. You're a Has Been and you should accept that. You could have made it big but chose the easy way out. Too bad both your sons will do much better.

I think not many people have given me true support except my mom, kim and myself.
